Come to Śluza Gallery and meet eleven incredible women.

As one of the first female scientists they made careers at polish universities. At the same time they paved the way to higher education for the next generation of women. They worked and achieved success in various fields. At different stages of their academic careers they were connected to the University of Poznań.

Meet our exhibition’s protagonists: Michalina Stefanowska, Ludwika Dobrzyńska-Rybicka, Anna Gruszecka, Helena Gajewska, Eugenia Piasecka-Zeylandowa, Mieczysława Ruxerówna, Bożena Stelmachowska, Lidia Seipelt-Lawęcka, Zofia Małaczyńska-Suchcitzowa, Wisława Knapowska i Helena Szafranówna.
