Dear Visitors,
One of the Centre for Cultural Tourism TRAKT’s team members is confirmed to have coronavirus.
In accordance with our procedure, immediately after one of our employees reported feeling unwell, s/he was sent home and directed to work remotely. The source of infection was probably outside of the workplace and was not related to performing work duties. The person is stable and is currently in home isolation.
The Coronavirus Management Team in Poznań was immediately consulted about the situation.
A decision has been reached to temporarily close Porta Posnania for Visitors. The majority of
the employees working in our Team have been directed to work from home. Only the workers essential for maintaining the business continuity remain on-site.
On Monday, 5 October, in consultation with the Coronavirus Management Team in Poznań, further decisions were made and it was decided that Porta Posnania would remain closed for Visitors until 9 October (Friday). At the same time, we are working on testing other employees who had contact with the infected person as well as on introducing additional preventative, sanitary and safety measures.
We would like to assure you that we are constantly ensuring the safety of our Visitors by maintaining the standards and adopting procedures approved by the National Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, including the following:
-
All Visitors to Porta Posnania must wear face masks. Hand sanitation is obligatory at the entrance to the building. Hand sanitizers are available in all toilets.
-
The number of Visitors who can be in the building at the same time has been reduced.
-
Audio guides, which are the main tools used for visiting the exhibition, are regularly disinfected thermally as well as with the use of biocidal products and UVC lamps.
-
The main exhibition has been adapted to the requirements of touchless visiting.
-
The equipment, furniture and all objects at the exhibition are regularly cleaned and disinfected during the day.
-
Customer Service Employees wear face masks; the workstations where they interact with Visitors have been equipped with plexiglass dividers.
-
Additionally, we have decided to disinfect the whole building, paying particular attention to the spaces used by our Guests.
If you were planning to visit Porta Posnania in the coming days, we would like to ask you for your understanding. Following procedure pertaining to the sanitary regime is a priority for us. We want our Guests to feel safe and comfortable when they visit us again after the institution reopens.
We will keep you informed about the further decisions concerning the functioning of Porta Posnania.
